The Fashion Makeover - Planning! (part 1)
As some of you might know, I've been trying to inspire myself to get out there more, and one necessary step in that was to get a haircut so my unkempt hair would become, well, kempt. I didn't have any good looking pictures of myself to use for, for example, dating site profiles!
dracosphynx, being a "full speed ahead, damn the torpedoes" type of engineer, dug around a bit and found a fashion makeover site in San Francisco. He promptly dragged me into it! (you may picture Fluffyshy clinging to the carpet and leaving clawmarks)
Me, before the makeover!

You can see I needed a change. I needed... a makeover!
With some nagging, I looked over Asian men hairstyles that might fit the image I wanted to project, such as this one and this one... But, how would they look on me with my glasses?
I did some sketches, and rapidly found that trying to draw 'real me' was both tediously slow and ugly. It just didn't look like me! So, I switched gears and abstracted my 'concept art' of myself:

I identified my key need as being outer wear-- for example, my most often used windbreaker was now sufficiently ratty that I felt actively disreputable wearing it. To that end, I browsed around for various jackets and vests that might suit the purpose.
Once again, I decided it might be a good idea to try and figure out how it would look on 'me'!

The dreaded day of the Makeover rapidly approached...
