Tufty Takes Selfies: New Eyeglasses

I had my annual optometrist appointment this last Thursday. Since it'd been two years since I got my last set, I opted to get new glasses this time. These are the eyeglasses choice of frames I had.

I'm glad my vision care insurance is good... These would have been really expensive without it. As it was, it was moderately ouch but acceptable.

I've already picked the frames, but which one do you think looks best?

Me too! I hope that's the one he got, because it was everyone's pick. c_c

I like the first one. I think it fits the shape of your face best!

I'd go with either of the first two.

I like #1 and #3. Tho they all look nice!

The first one looks best IMO, followed by the second one. The second one probably gives you a slightly larger field of vision vertically, even if I think the first one looks nicer.

The remaining ones all have thick frames. Perhaps things are different in California, but up here that style is usually worn by women, which looks incongruous on you (at least to me). It's entirely possible that this is a regional thing (and it's far from a hard-and-fast rule even here).

I like #2, #3, and #5 myself. #3 is my fave.

The one in the upper-left looks best to me, though I imagine it might also be least practical, since it looks like it gives you the least range of vision through the glasses.
