For those wondering "What is this anyway?", Alien Tastes is a story about a galactic cooking school. ^.^

Think Shokugeki no Soma (Food Wars) crossed with Star Trek; some cooking competition, some learning about alien cultures, stuff like that.

First crit: Write a descriptive tagline without referencing any other media.
(To clarify the why a bit better : You know what specific parts of those two shows it's similar to, but I don't.)

It's a crowded galaxy, and humans are the latecomers to the Union. A young Chinese chef wants to try and prove human cuisine belongs on the menu in a galactic cooking school. Most of the action should take place in the school itself, which is a starship-city that travels between worlds in the Union.
