Coca-Kolody?

I don't normally post political stories in my journal, but this one proved so interesting I couldn't resist. It even includes EBay!

The story of Bob Kolody versus Coca-Cola.

Is it for real? Well, there is this open letter from another site that would seem to suggest some verisimilitude to the going-ons at the very least, if not actual truth, and I haven't found any good cross-references that suggest this is urban legend or hoax.

It's a fascinating story, and I'm inclined to believe it. (This would make a great movie!)

I more see it as a made-for-TV movie. ('gryn)

google finds no full stories (the web site's gone), Amazon shows no reviews or comments on the book, so I can't say it's a credible story :-(

The 'Open Letter' link still works.

Wayback Machine (http://web.archive.org/web/20041009135055/http://www.guerrillanews.com/cocakarma/) still has it.

There are Google search results referring to this, and Judge Blanche Manning (http://judgepedia.org/index.php/Blanche_Manning) is credited as presiding over this case. The link above leads to the Wayback Machine archive, so presumably they are aware that the Guerilla News website got domain-scammed.
