BayCon or FanimeCon?

Looking at Shadowscapes, I see Stephanie Pui-Mun Law is going to be attending FanimeCon this year instead of BayCon. And looking at my notes from 2002, BayCon sucked and I was thinking of moving on to a different con. I apparently didn't go to BayCon in 2003, or else didn't consider it worthy of journaling. I lean towards that I didn't go.

Barring some sickness or crisis cropping up that makes the matter academic, where are people in this area going for this coming Memorial Day weekend?

I read that as FamineCon. What an odd concept.

No, no, Seattle seems more prone to hunger strikes and fad fasts. ('gryn)

Gotta make up for all those lattes!

Not like there aren't enough in assorted fandoms who couldn't do with a touch of famine, though. It makes more sense than I originally thought... :)

I went to FanimeCon. THere is lots of fan stuff to see and do there but last year I was bored. The con was fucking huge, almost too huge.
