I admit I giggled at this caption: "In at least four states, we can legally hunt this man." But really, the thought provoking bit was the thesis: arguing is a contest for dominance. It makes sense! It explains why some people just can't bear to lose an argument, and must continue dragging the effort out endlessly, no matter how much you go back to primary sources. It also explains why it hurts when someone gives you a putdown and you can't come up with a snappy comeback in time; you just lost a bit of 'face', even though in reality you're the same person you always were.
