A favorite line!

Currently reading archangelbeth's Herb-Wife book and I had to quote this line from it. (not a spoiler)

"Analyzing the geometries of herb-witchery ingredients was like washing a cat. It looked simple, but sprouted extra legs when you weren't looking, and wiggled."

Heeheehee.

I am distinctly enjoying the book as a welcome difference from all the usual shiny young Hollywoodesque heroes. So far as I can tell, the heroine of the tale is decidedly plain and equipped with a temper, though how much of that is purposeful camouflage remains to be seen. The hero has the patience of Job, I tell you. -_-
