Resonance review - no spoilers

tuftearsI've just played through Resonance and have been very pleased with the game. It's a marvelous near-future science fiction story, in the vein of Gemini Rue, asking some tough questions about where we are going in the future. I will note that there are some really hard puzzles in the game; however, if you talk to another character and ask them "What now?" they will generally give you a hint.
Two interesting features of this game are that at many points, you will be able to control up to four characters-- not all at once, but you can swap between them, and you have both an inventory of physical items and a memory with long-term and short-term things you've noted, that you can invoke in conversations, i.e. if you see a door, and drag it into your short-term, you can then talk to someone about the door, which might be handy if they're the ones who know how to open the door. Interesting mechanic, I think the short-term memory is too cumbersome, but I liked the use of the long-term memories which automatically populates with subjects of interest.
I definitely don't regret pre-ordering it from GoG.com!
