Did you play Starflight?

Evidently there is a fan-made sequel!

For those who didn't play Starflight, it was a starship exploration game, with you making first contact with aliens. More exploration than combat and trading, which is what I find missing in a lot of today's space games.

oh boy, i loved that game! I couldn't play enough of it at the time. Mostly because I didn't own a computer of my own.

Oh gads, it was pretty much this game which sucked me into computer gaming in general. Long, lots of exploration and then that interesting little plot twist at the end...! Wooo!
