Cooking Experiment: Peanut Butter & Chocolate Chip Cookies (mk II)

It's been a while since I last made peanut butter & chocolate chip cookies so I figured I'd give it another try!

This is more or less the recipe I used:

Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies



Looks legit to me!

Tastes legit, even! Unlike the last time I made 'em, these have quite adequate levels of sweetness.

I've got two rolls left of these in the freezer; my thinking is that when I crave sweets, I can unwrap them, cut off a couple slices, and bake them. Yay? We'll see how that holds up.

Now I'm wondering if it's possible to 'bake' cookies in the microwave, just like you can nuke a mug cake, if you use the right recipe? Huh.

Evidently 'yes, but you won't get the same kind of browning'. The comments section is a bit worrisome as well.
