With Google being such a large company, our company Halloween party is also quite a shindig. It's held out in a large park area that's normally used for sports and there are two events: one on Wednesday for the parents with kids, and one on Thursday for the adults. Here, check out these pictures.

We're here! Thanksfully, despite the day being overcast, it didn't rain.

I went in a rather cheesy but homemade costume: I got a chef's toque, then stitched on a couple of cat ears as you can see, and put on a cat-making-bread apron. Total cost, about $20 or so.
But at least I went! And in costume!
The main reason to go:

Food!
There were lots of different options. These mushroom-appearing lollipops were the most distinctive, but there were also miniature sandwiches, cookies of various types, donut holes crusted in chocolate bits on one side to look like acorns, 'slider' hamburgers and half-hotdogs, rice krispies treats in various guises such as 'edible playing cards'...

There were people in costume, of course. Unikitty and a dark archer of some sort, then Han Solo with his fuzzy comrade, Chewbarka. Princess Leia came up with a matching dog companion after I'd taken the picture.

You could pet the rabbits...

Or greet the White Rabbit. Goodness, Alice, you've grown tall.

They kind of went nuts on the decorating.
Lots of activities around. Face-painting, silly hats crafting, croquet, a casino...
And at the center of the rose maze (which was an actual maze!):

It was quite a shindig. ^_^
I suspect somehow it'd be more fun to bring a date. Maybe next year!
