So, I had a jar of peach pie filling. And I had about 8 sheets of phyllo dough left. What was I to do, but to try to combine the two into a tasty snack?

How did it come out? Hmm. I think I should leave baking to the professionals - but it seems pretty fragile and inclined to crumble, rather than holding its form like a proper buttery turnover. I wound up eating the bigger one with a fork, using the plate to trap all the crumbs.
It tastes okay, and it did get rid of stuff I don't want hanging around my refrigerator forever.
