Comic book drawers!
Nov. 13th, 2011 12:05 pmI have quite a few comic books. I was wondering how to store them... You can't really put them in a bookcase because unless they're graphic novels, there's no binding side to speak of, it would just be a row of staples facing the reader. Standard comic boxes would work but you can't stack them...
Or can you?
Browsing around, I came across some interesting references to comic book file drawers, and decided to try putting them together.

Here's the first row of these. Ultimately there'll be four or five rows. I got these from CollectionDrawer.com.
Interesting stuff, I had to admire how cleverly the cardboard is cut so you can assemble these from just a few sheets of cardboard each, but they fit together pretty securely, and importantly, will bear weight. At least I hope they will. -_- That many comics will weigh a lot.
