Picked up new glasses and jacket, the latter thanks to [livejournal.com profile] dracosphynx dragging me down to Santana Row for lunch and then picking up the clothes at Franco Uomo. See what you think!

For those who were keeping track of the glasses options I outlined earlier, I went with the second one because I thought the thin-ness was getting a bit too extreme. I want to see through these things, not squint and tilt my head until the subject of my interest is within a narrow band!

This is me in a nice orange shirt.

Franco Uomo posed me a few times. I suspect he's used to clients who have no idea how to look in their clothes.

I have no idea who goes around posing like this. This could be my 'I have no idea!' pose.

[livejournal.com profile] dracosphynx says I look like old money with this ascot! I like it, I have to investigate getting a wild cats themed cravat of some kind.

Me looking very serious with the ascot hung about my neck. Seems a bit too dark to make out, but I thought it looked good this way.

I look like I'm auditioning for a Triad movie role for some reason.

That's me. A made man. -_-

"I have no idea" is exactly what that gesture looks like! :D I like the jacket & ascot & shirt ensemble! Very snazzy. I agree that the ascot looks nice as a scarf, too.

I must find a suitable ascot. -_-

It feels weird having an ascot tucked in under the shirt.

Hurrah for ascots! Also, I sympathize about the glasses frame choice. Narrow-frame glasses might look neat (as per my previously-stated opinion), but it's hard to see how they're practical. They seem more the sort of thing that a costumer might wear, who isn't REALLY depending upon glasses to help see, but more just wearing them as "steampunk accessories," etc.
