I hope my guild can get him down this weekend, but I probably won't be there. At least I already got my wolf, that was such a huge weight off my shoulders. :D
I'm really considering joining a raiding guild on my troll shaman. I don't know though.
Thinking about who's going to get leveled to 100 in time for the anniversary stuff! Nadizel most likely, then maybe Guchulag.
What worked for us was mastering Empowered Whirls and having people spread out before Desecrate, then come back in for MCs, then spread out again. The farther people are from Empowered Whirl, the less damage they take, and the easier it is to single out the minions and pick them off.
Do you have a main? I'd figure you'd want your main to be in the raiding guild, and I can't really fathom trying to keep up with raids on multiple chars/guilds.
Yes, that's how we were doing the Empowered Whirls, everyone spread out, dealt with their minions, then collapsed back.
I consider Nadizel my main (alliance Night Elf feral druid.) Unfortunately, this expansion her dps has been really terrible and she's pretty much been benched unless one of the main dps doesn't show up, and then they beg me to help out. :P I'm at a loss why her dps is so bad, and all I can think is that it's the positional requirement of feral druids needing to be behind for shred to work effectively (on those times berserk or tiger's fury are down). I feel like I'm spending a massive amount of time running around into the correct position.
Guchulag, my troll enhancement shaman, does way better dps even though his gear ilevel is less.
Basically I would stop raiding on Nadizel and I guess Guchulag would become my main.
I don't really want to go back to healing on Nadizel. I don't mind it but... I'd jsst rather be cat. I do have resto as the second spec on Guchulag.
I am cat, hear me purr, I am too cute to ignore. ;) I really couldn't say re: Nadizel feral DPS. I know snapshotting DOTs is a thing in MOP that won't be so much of a thing in WOD. I know I do pretty good DPS on Tufty as feral, on the occasions where I can do so instead of being the resident fuzzy tank.
