Catching Up: Mountain View Oktoberfest
Nov. 2nd, 2014 11:49 amMore pictures from my phone that I have somehow neglected to upload until now!
While browsing around for things happening in town, I noticed a Mountain View Oktoberfest within walking distance. It seemed likely to be a smallish sort of thing so I didn't think
dracosphynx would be interested, but I figured I'd better get out of the house.

Yep, I was in the right place. It was actually in a parking lot off of the main street, but I glanced through an alleyway and noticed people in the distance.

Not too much to say! Lunch was this delicious goulash from Teske's Germania. Very tender beef, just the right amount of spiciness, and the homemade noodles had great texture.
There was beer of course. You had to buy a stein and then go to the various kegs where you could get beer with drink tickets; being a non-drinker, I eschewed that stuff.
