Haircut thoughts?

I need to figure out if I need to go back for a second haircut round, or if one of these suits me. Tell me what you think, LJ friends!

This is me with my hair down:



And me with my hair ponytail-tied up:



*flails* I was actually intending to get it cut somewhat shorter than this, but the hairstylist seemed to like this length. At the least I guess my hair's evened out so I don't look totally unkempt before meeting someone tomorrow.

Oooh...I was looking for styles to suggest to M and I found one that would look great on you (IMO, ofc). You could even keep it a bit longer. I really like the texture of it.

Hmm. I'm not sure, but I think the fellow in the picture has THICKER hair. Yours looks very fine, and lays very flat by comparison. I would normally say, "Go for the ponytail," but given the two pictures, I think the long hair looks more flattering on you. I could never manage a look like that!

You need to grow it longer, of course!

And, completely serious: the pic of you with it down looks better than the ponytail, although that may be a matter of angle/lighting.

The first one looks okay, but it comes across to me as "baseline" more than anything else.

I like the ponytail picture (it emphasizes your face more), but I'd really have to see what it looks like from the side and back to properly comment on it.
