I talked
dracosphynx into going to the fair on Sunday, so you get some more pictures!

Encountered this plant with scarily big flowers. It looks like one of those lasher plant elementals in WOW, the ones that are big enough to engulf someone's head in their flower-maws.
dracosphynx pointed out that the petals would bend back to form the distinctive banana shapes, and indeed, on closer examination, I saw some of them.
Some guy pulled up in a taxi-painted Mini Cooper. I should have taken a picture. -_-

I didn't notice these, but
dracosphynx did-- figures, given his interest in architecture. These were in the storefront of a planning-and-architectural-design sort of company. They reminded me of another article I'd seen, the 'green development' being planned on the grounds of a local mall. It's not the same company, so maybe it's an architectural trending thing?

More from that company that was doing metalworking sculptures! Notice the Enterprise, at the bottom of the picture.

I noticed this carved wood dragon on this pass through the fair.

I'd been interested by this offering Saturday but felt I would have been too full to do it justice. Well, I gave it a try this time. It was okay, but I think the lamb gyro was a lot better. This one needed more sauce. Otherwise, I persuaded
dracosphynx to try some of the 25-year aged balsamic vinegar at one of the booths. That thing's got zing.
Oh, remember the honey vendor from last time? I tasted some of their poison oak blossom honey this time. It's got a bit of a bite to it, but is still very sweet.

We finished up with a trip through the farmer's market, which was open on Sunday. Nothing too surprising; I was still a bit hungry since the pork belly sandwich wasn't very substantial, so I picked up this piroshki, took it home and microwaved it a bit to warm it up. Yum! It's filled with chicken.
