Man, you know you're getting old when you start passing up perfectly delicious-sounding menu options like a hamburger with a beer-battered onion ring, bleu cheese, bacon, and BBQ sauce and a rootbeer float in favor of something healthy. *sleepy flop*

This was pretty decent, actually. It's breaded chicken in teriyaki sauce, served with romaine lettuce, pickled carrots and daikon radishes, and spicy mayo on an egg bun, with 'house-made' lemonade on the side. I stopped at <a="http://gotts.com/">Gott's Roadside (a chain restaurant) after my annual 'fasting blood test'. It occurred to me that trying to get diabetes with a high-calorie meal would be a bad idea when the whole point of the blood test was to ascertain whether I was veering too close to diabetes.
I didn't actually anticipate the chicken being breaded, but it's still a more complete meal, with a reasonable proportion of vegetables to meat and carbs, than my initial notion.
