Left Bank Brasserie
Dec. 29th, 2019 08:24 pmSomewhat after my birthday, but with Auntie Betty in the area, I got together with Auntie Betty, Auntie Margaret, my cousin Randall, and my brother Brian, at a lunch at Left Bank Brasserie, a French "lunch" sort of bistro-- I had been pondering something a bit fancier but they seemed uncomfortable with the idea of going somewhere really pricey.

Seems presentable enough.

My aunts! Auntie Margaret on the left, Auntie Betty on the right. Ignore that weird man leaping through the air in the background.

I had the duck confit leg. I recall it being pretty good, though I'd have liked somewhat more food. We didn't really know how much food to expect here. In retrospect, probably should've ordered an appetizer or two.

Some sort of cake that we split between us. It was pretty good.
We wandered around a bit to digest after that, and I found this in a store that offered a variety of 'consumer electronics' and such:

Yeah, you can get a typewriter-style phone keyboard now. I know one person who might like that...
