I deleted a bunch of 'regular' food images but here are some of those that survived the cut:

Behold! Another Asian fusion cuisine item, this is a tortilla filled with General Tso's chicken stirfry (no batter, just sauced similarly) and baked. Came out pretty well but I still think rice is the better choice. I forget exactly the veggies I used, possibly an Asian veggies blend.

This is what I call a 'Westernized okonomiyaki'. Hash browns form the bottom layer-- shredded potatoes fried crispy, not the thick-cut "country potatoes" you find in some restaurants. Then a layer of saute'd kale and bacon, a bit of cheese on the inside, buttermilk pancake batter on the top, and once the hash browns were crispy enough, I flipped it over to sear the pancake, then back, and topped with some more cheese. It was done once the topmost cheese had melted.
It was pretty good! But definitely would have been easier to make the layers separately, then stack them. Flipping a thick stack of ingredients is NOT easy. I needed the big spatula to make it work.

I've forgotten the name of the place Dracosphynx took me to, but the okonomiyaki was good. Next time I'd probably get it split half-and-half so I could get different flavors. The one on the right is mine.

Dracosphynx dragged me out to a brunch at Lazy Dog for some reason, which I have forgotten, but while we were there, I sighted these beers on display at the front. Check it out, "Dragon Yumyums."

Bacon fried rice with an egg on top. Seems basic but it was pretty good.

We had dessert at this Korean desserts place down the way. The pager is cute!

They had a selection of various thick sweet "injeolmi" toasts, and fruit "bingsoos", which are Korean shaved ice topped with sweet fruit, condensed milk, fruit syrup, and/or red beans.

I had the toast. Surprisingly, there's a layer of "injeolmi"-- rice cake-- between the two pieces of toast-- it's like a sweet fried cheese sandwich. It tastes great though, don't get me wrong on that! Definitely worth trying if you find yourself still a bit hungry after a lunch or dinner and there's a Korean desserts place handy.
