Gads... brace for culture shock! My first awareness that things in India were going to be Very Different was climbing over the pile of luggage with a hundred other people like ants. This was luggage claim at the airport in Calcutta.
As I like to say, India began hitting me in the face when I got off the plane, and didn't really stop until I got back on a month later.
Want to go back though. There's something that gets into your blood.
Even if you have all the shots the CDC recommends.
