haikujaguar - a lovely story of an alien world that I recommend to more mature readers. It's an alien philosophy that gives us an outside perspective on the roles to which we've become accustomed.
It's set in a desert sort of setting, with Jokka dwelling in scattered villages, connected by traveling caravans. I can't help but think it would be fun to make a computer RPG set there - not a typical 'defend the land from the evil overlord' sort of game, but trading, building up one's House into a success story.
