Recommend me a rug!

Presently there's this big swathe of space between the sofa and the TV. I'm thinking of a rug to fill the space in. What do you think?

For the library, I'm thinking of this one. kagetsume suggests that red and gold carpets, what I would have picked to start with, would make both rooms too red.

Put down a yoga mat and start doing yoga. A lot of space is great!

Considering yoga mats are like 24" wide, and the space to fill here is about 70x100", I think I'll save exercise equipment like that for a side bedroom. :)
