After my air conditioning broke down, and my old car's air conditioning had also broken down, I determined I really needed... well, a new air conditioner, yes. But also, a new car. My 2004 Honda Accord was just about 14 years old after all!
So I went shopping.

I decided on this BMW i3. It's electric with a range extender, so it'll go about 100 miles on a full battery and 60 more with the gasoline engine adding power. Plenty enough to get to San Purrancysco and back! And it's super-adorable. ^_^

Here's the BeMew parked at work! I still need to get my purrsonalized license plate for it, I haven't gotten them from the DMV yet. I have loaded it up with most of my favorite mewsyc though!

Date: 2017-09-30 05:15 am (UTC)Camries are a pretty reliable bunch of cars. For my part, I really wanted to upgrade rather than pay increasingly more than the car was worth to keep it going. (its trade-in value was like $2k or so)
